Our Commitment

Jennifer Rothrock is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

Standards

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Evaluation Methods

This site was evaluated using:

  • Automated testing (Google Lighthouse, run in a private browsing session to reflect the visitor experience)
  • Manual keyboard-only navigation testing
  • Screen reader testing (VoiceOver)

Measures taken

We have taken the following measures to support accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML structure throughout the site
  • Full keyboard navigation support, manually verified: logical tab order, no keyboard traps, and no elements requiring an unnatural tab order
  • Screen reader compatibility, manually verified with VoiceOver
  • Sufficient color contrast ratios
  • Bilingual content in English and German
  • Clear and consistent navigation structure, with a single main landmark and correctly ordered headings

Known limitations

We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. Some areas may not yet fully meet all guidelines. We welcome feedback to help us improve.

  • Images are pending descriptive alt text, which will be added site-wide shortly after launch. In the interim, some links lack a discernible name for screen reader users.
  • Some repeated links on the page share similar link text for different destinations, which can make navigation by screen reader link-list less clear; this will be resolved alongside the alt text update.
